Arsenal put £15 million price tag on Santi Cazorla

Arsenal are believed to be open to the idea of selling Santi Cazorla and have reportedly put a £15 million price-tag on the Spain international’s head.
The creative midfielder is attracting the attention of Atletico Madrid in his homeland and the Daily Star report that Arsenal would be willing to sell the 29-year-old for a fee of £15 million.
Cazorla played 31 times for Arsenal in the Premier League last season, but could find first team appearances harder to come by next season. In his early Arsenal career Cazorla featured in the centre as a creative midfield player, but the club-record signing of Mesut Ozil last summer saw Cazorla shifted to the left.

While he impressed from the left of midfield last season and largely kept Lukas Podolski out of the side, he now has increased competition for that role. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain missed much of last season through injury and deputised for Theo Walcott on the right when he was fit, but can feature from the left, while new Arsenal signing Alexis Sanchez would also be competing for the role.
Cazorla scored four league goals and provided eight assists last season, but should Arsenal receive a £15 million offer could be about to end his two year stay at the club.
