Arsenal target Norwich City goalkeeper John Ruddy as back-up to Wojciech Szczesny

Arsenal targeting Norwich City goalkeeper John Ruddy, as Arsene Wenger looks for competition for number one Wojciech Szczesny according to the Mirror.
Ruddy was one of Norwich’s better players in the last few seasons, but the Canaries’ poor form saw them relegated from the Premier League last season. Ruddy lost his spot in the England team during the World Cup with Fraser Forster and Ben Foster preferred ahead of him, and he is now looking to move for pastures new this summer in a bid to get back into the national side.
Norwich have made Ruddy available this summer as they prepare for life in the Championship, however, they are only willing to part with their goalkeeper if an offer in the region of £7 million comes in.
Arsenal are prepared to stump up the cash for Ruddy after Lukasz Fabianski left the club last month for Swansea. Wenger is desperate for reinforcements in between the sticks as he looks to keep number one, Szczesny, on his toes for the season ahead.
Ruddy, who joined the club in 2010, was linked with the club back in May and the reports have now resurfaced.
